As a kid , in the 60s , my dad got us in before opening. He had worked inside Disneyland when it first opened ( his photo was used by the company and they misspelled his last name in 55, mom, dad , sister , cousin were in Disneyland before the grand opening . Family joke is the free hot dog my cousin got was cold) and his old employer made it happen. We were on Main Street inside the pharmacy out of sight, which was required and watched kids and families run to rides when the gate opened. Of course that meant we were behind all of them for the rides we had e tickets to use. A fun memory from childhood there.
