Sure you can reply, with all the same diatribes, (cost, crowds, etc).... but I won't read them.
In two weeks we would have been headed for Disneyland in Anaheim.... this time with a penthouse suite. I splurged, then didn't splurge as it was all cancelled.
Disneyland is my family's favorite 'city' vacation spot and has held that title since the 50's. Everyone in my family loves it, not a single exception. So with our dreams dashed for this year I just walked thru my living room and my family was gathered together watching all the rides on YouTube... Pirates, Haunted House, Indy, Space Mtn... even Casey Jr. and Peter Pan and all the rest. Pirates was on when I went thru the living room and my daughter asked of me, "Can you smell it?".... which surprised me because that's exactly what I was remembering, the smells in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Except for my time in the Army this could be, (maybe not), the first year since Disneyland opened in 1955 that I will not have visited Disneyland. The 'maybe not' is that we are considering a 'near' Christmas visit.
By the way my family's favorite vacation spot is camping.. most anywhere but perhaps mostly Yosemite.
