We saw the rattlesnake from afar... spotted him crossing the road ahead of us. There was never any danger whatsoever. Well, unless he was a Usain Bolt Rattlesnake but I don't think those are native to my ranch. laughing smiley

However... could be a bit dangerous on my ranch this year because so far this year we've spotted more rattlesnakes, (all of us combined, not just me), than the total we've seen in, ohhhhhh, the last several years. Apparently they have had a good year, bred well, abundant food supply.

Been several years since we've seen more than one or two in any given year... even though they are always present. Also it's the 'time of year' right now... coming out of hibernation and hungry as hell. I expect sightings to fall off dramatically as the heat soars in the coming month or two. - JamesJM
