Learned how to program the inboard drum machine and downloaded a killer set of drum samples.. got my newest song on drums about 3/4ths programmed - the framework, at least.. Gotta finish it up, then add little things that make it cool.. Jimmy you'd dig it because you can make each drum's hit a tad random in its velocity and tone, so makes it more believable.. I could do that on my old drum machine, but was way more difficult.. Plus this one is cool because I have a basic 3D model of a drum kit and every time any drum or cymbal plays, it highlights on the 3D kit, so when you got a full song going, its actually pretty cool to see all the stuff light up as its being hit..
So, long way to go, but learning more and more about it.. It should be fairly easy to add some keys and synth special effects into these tunes I've written along with movie quotes and stuff like Rob Zombie does.. Its still a pain in the keyster, but I'm getting there with it.. Viva la locked down at the house!
