SOOOOOO many big names in MLB that I had forgotten about. You guys remember Jose Cruz of the Astros? That guy was GOOD!! It's neat seeing all the old names and the old stadiums. In July 1979, I was about a month away from starting 7th grade. Back in 1979, BEFORE 127 cable sports channels, I knew MANY MLB players. These days, there are several teams where I cannot tell you one player's name. In the old days, we got a newspaper everyday and I'd look at the box scores. That helped with knowing players. Just like the NFL, I think MLB was MUCH better back then.
