Yeah-I can remember waking up on a Sat. morning and walking across the street and knocking on the door. When my friend came out I would say "Hey-what do you want to do today"? Today its unlikely there is a friend across the street. The friend that was once there is somewhere else, because their house was "flipped"-but you can still play a video game with him sitting "inside".
In my law office I once had a lawyer tenant renting space from me. One day he said he was quitting the practice. I asked him why and he told me he was getting into the making of video games. He said there's a ton of money in it.
