I know my wife rolled ours, in the mid-60s- coming home from traffic school. That's right coming home FROM traffic school. If anyone is familiar with Waterman Canyon at the foot of the San Bernardino Mountains it happened as she was on the way to our home in Lake Arrowhead. The VW rolled 6 times down a mountain. She was student teaching and all her papers were scattered all over the mountain. She never used her seat belts except this time and it was because of the traffic school she had just completed.
Anyway we loved that car-or I did-lots of fun to drive in the snow.
