Okay, so chatted online with them last night, told them it did not have a power supply, was listed as Excellent Condition, they said yeah well it's used, and can be operated with batteries, so blah, blah, blah. Gave me a link that I could send a complaint to the specific store.
So I sent a polite message, no big deal but I felt since they come new WITH a PS, and it was listed as Excellent Condition, it should probably have been downgraded to a little lower condition or specified no power supply included. Sent that last night.
Sat down for lunch and had an email from GC saying on used equipment that will operate from batteries, they don't usually specify that... but said they could see my point and would start including that info. Said he could give me a discount on a new power supply, or what else could they do for me?
I said a discount would be good, I could order one from Amazon for $16, and if they could get one to me for that, especially if it was original equipment (I found them online for $30 plus shipping) I'd be happy.
By the time I finished lunch, had another email from them saying they were sending one my way, no charge. So not sure if it will be aftermarket or original, but not matter as long as it works. That's a pretty good deal, and the machine IS like new, except for the PS so that makes me happy. Kudos to Guitar Center!
My only question for now Steve is, I tried to program the chart you posted in the other thread... the only sequence I can get is 8 beats though, not 16. I saw something in the manual that I took to mean I can change that to 16, but it didn't say how in that part so I'm looking. No worries if you don't see this or know off the top of your head, I'll find it. Is that a function of Quantization?
