so first the bad..... my wife watched the movie with us... me, two grandsons... meaning - LOW VOLUME! And when I say 'low' I mean my transistor radio from the 60's would have worked better. That is NO WAY to watch a war movie.. or ANY movie for that matter.
That's it, that's the bad... because I thought the movie was great. Oh sure, you could easily see CGI, and glaringly, but how else with the tech we have today could they have done better? It was needed... I don't mind AT ALL using a little imagination... damn good at it, in fact, and I have NO complaint.
Once again I teared up... don't mind admitting it. The Great Generation... and it's no contest. - JamesJM
P.S. Unrelated... and pardon my language... the new Ram Logo, if that's it, is seagull @#$%& on a hat. It's new coke all over again... and firing everyone involved.. from the designer, to every single person who approved it... or even stayed mute and went along with it... is no where near sufficient punishment... Oh for those glorious days of tar and feathering and running people out of town on a rail.... accompanyied by fans throwing feces on them as they are paraded out of town... all fans... men, women, children. - JamesJM
