And have been since time out of mind.... decades. Can't remember how I became a squire... been too long.
I am the proud owner of Plot No. b9743.... which, oddly enough, is a triangular piece of land about the size of one good sized slice of pizza.
At least once a year, and occasionally a couple times a year... I receive an update on my plot of land. They let me know if it needed weeding, cultivating, etc. The update also includes a newsletter, of sorts, that lets me know any important news that may have happened in the time since the last newsletter.... like our neighbor Sam's mare foaled recently, and Jack down at the general store is once again selling the giant pickles.
Now scoff, if you will.... but this works... on me it works. This newletter/update hits my mailbox and I'm off to buy a bottle of Jack Daniels. Every time. - JamesJM
