couldn't find anything definitive , other then the game was actually played at 5:00 PM EST
which would have made it like , what , 2:00 PM PST , and they were worried no one on the west coast would make it home from work on time to watch , so they delayed it like 3 or 4 hours , which was common practice in those days
just amazing that they could delay the results of a huge sporting event that long without anyone learning the score \
