It's as advertised... easiest paint to apply, (if you're using a brush), ever. Secret is light pressure, thin first coast... it covers extremely well... and the no prep is true.
I have not applied the wax OR what I may use is a type of Polyurethane made specifically for Chalk Paint... the paint is quite 'dull'.. .which is great depending on the 'look' you're going for, wonderful for furniture. We want a 'semi-glass' and not sure we achieve it yet... I'll let you know. We started in a bathroom that is small but still a LOT cabinet space... to 'test' it before attempting the kitchen. Lot of experimentation so we have it right before the kitchen.
the only real negative, but it's a big one... is the lack of color choice. VERY limited. The color we chose looks different under different light, (as does all paint colors)... so what we're seeing is 'great' in certain parts of the room and not so great in others. Hopefully the gloss will help. - JamesJM
