Maybe 7-8 years ago.. it had moved in the middle of town to the mall, but originally was downtown when I was a kid.. My brother and I would walk to Sears from our mom's house - probably about a two mile walk, buy stuff and walk home.. One time we bought a semi large pinball machine and had to both carry it the entire 2 miles home.. We loved Sears back then.. and Gibsons.. Gibsons also had a store downtown and we'd walk there, and buy GI Joes and stuff and walk home.. Both are long gone now - sad to see your favorite places as a kid close down..

We lost Kmart - I dunno - 15-20 years ago.. we had two in town and both closed..
