Question #2... any one been to the 'Cavern Club'...

Where the Beatles first performed in Liverpool? Not me.

My son is vacationing in the area... about 50 miles from Liverpool, and I asked if he was going to visit but he's not. I'd like to see it one day.

Said this before on this board but England astounds me. I swear every city/town block there is something incredibly historic to see... even things we US Citizens know about. I think I told about the time I was strolling some 'ruins' in Bury St. Edmunds in England... having no real idea of the significance of the area (I learned later)... and seeing a small and quite indistinct plaque on a wall saying "Home Of Patrick Henry".... I called to my son...

"Erik, look at this, it's Patrick Henry's house". It floored me.... but I don't think anyone now in Bury St. Edmunds even knows it's there... but I can see why.... walk 10 feet away and there is an even MORE historic location.
