Back at ya. You'd think we had 4 or 5 kids from the amount of gifts under the tree... but nope... they're all for one grandkid (I have a shirt I'm wearing tomorrow that says 'Who Needs Santa When You've Got Grandma" (ain't it the truth). I can't wait to see Everett's face when he opens his presents. Everything is wrapped. There's nothing left that has to be assembled or put together. All I have to do now is prepare Christmas dinner. We scaled back a bit on the menu this year. For one... it's an expensive meal to prepare and two... I just don't feel like slaving away in the kitchen anymore. So, we'll eat a nice meal together and spend some time with each other and THAT'S what's important to me. We could have hot dogs and baked beans and I'd be just as happy.
Merry Christmas, James! Enjoy your family time.
