I will not really like a particular musician/singer much at first and then come to really love them.
Not like that with EJ, however. First time I saw him, that concert in Germany, I had no idea who he was... but walked out of that concert a lifelong fan.
My wife and I used to try to beat each other in hearing then revealing each new song he'd debut.
A good example of a band I didn't really care for much at first but came to love is the Beatles.. yeah, hard to believe right?
BUT.. it didn't take me long. Maybe a year.
I thought of the Beatles because you mentioned EJ's melodies. The Beatles wrote incredible melodies as well... in fact, while others, perhaps many, were as gifted at writing melodies I doubt any were any better. - JamesJM
