maybe you can't answer it

I've watched these videos , where they have like up to a thousand musicians , all come together to cover one song

my question is .......

not so much how much work goes into it , because I couldn't even imagine

but..............

how does one even go about doing something like this , first of all , and probably my biggest question , how does one even go about contacting that many musicians

is there like some super secret website all you musicians hang out on

I'm amusing it's not like there is just that many musicians in the neighborhood and had nothing better to do on a Friday afternoon

these people must come from all over the country , or even multiple countries

so how do they even organize something like that , how do they even contact that many musicians , you must have to contact like 10,000 and hope 1,000 can make it , how far in advance does something like this even start ,

and how much practice time is there ?

I'm guessing some of the larger ones are organized by the same people , but there are hundreds of videos that aren't , just the logistics is mind boggling

how many speakers and microphones , does something like that take

props go out to the electricians ..................lol
