I have not met a ton of star musicians, but I've met several... and that 'love of wide variety of music' is MOST often the case... no matter which genre of music they specialized in.

So much so... this from both 'stars' and just regular folks like me... that I think the majority, and by a good margin, of actual musicians ARE quite appreciative of ALL genre of music.

I mean... I know a LOT of fans of music, most actually, who like one thing ONLY... everything they listen too is basically ONE genre... but that's a rare characteristic indeed among the actual 'musicians' I know... with exceptions, of course. - JamesJM
