back in the 80's you had guitar techs that REALLY knew what they were doing.. and they did it for free because they just wanted to hang around the band.. Nowadays nobody knows jack and they all want big bank.. for nothing..

Currently I have 12 guitars, but I usually only take 2 to shows - sometimes 3 if I'm feeling nervous about technical problems or breaking strings etc.. I hafta worry about all the lights, effects, and projection videos, so guitar almost takes a back seat to all the production..
