Going to the game on Friday the 2nd, next week, vs Milwaukee. Flying to Chicago..The day we get there, driving down to see my old USAF Tech School, Chanute AFB, about 110 miles S of Chicago. It's a depressing abandoned base but I still want to go. The next day it's GO CUBS!!! As soon as the game is over, we are driving to see my Wife's relatives just outside of Grand Rapids Michigan. Gonna be fun. I have never been to Chicago. AAAALMOST got to see the Cubs when I was at Chanute in April 1986 but 2 people got the Squadron restricted to the base. I have never seen Michigan. Gonna be a cool / new experience.
