Man I'll be honest.....in today's world you may never know what/who started it......Yes (good eyes with you) the scaffolding does put your idea into point....but IMO that would come into the question of what the scaffolding was up for and repairing. If your are refinishing the outer areas how does that start the fire? IMO the question should be where did the fire start, not how it started....that may be a tell tale sign of what/who started it.

Also heard later that the Cathedral was closed and then like 5-10 minutes later the fire was noticed.....Bad stuff coming from a City in trouble already with what's been going on for some time now......
