that is: "Slimy". I grew up on Okra... but I have no idea what 'slimy' okra is... how it's prepared. All I ever had was Okra fried in corm meal... nothing slimy about it at all and in fact one of my all time favorite foods.
For a few years we grew okra on our farm. We grew it for 'seed', not fresh produce, but when it was ready we'd load pickup beds full of it and dine on it for weeks, handing it out to everyone in the neighborhood.
