Most irritating to me is...

the last minutes of a game. They can last a half hour with intentional fouls in hopes that the "fouled" player misses the free throw. and the opposing team can chase the ball down the court in hopes of scoring. That's not to mention allowed time outs remaining.

That said. . . when I was a sportswriter I covered basketball and I hated covering it. It's just not a sport I enjoy watching. And rarely do.
