I don't know why vets think that giving pets pills is easy (or sometimes even possible). When we had two dogs and one needed to take a pill we would put them together. We would wrap the pill up in cheese or whatever and then give the healthy dog treat after treat. Then when the sick dog was salivating enough, we threw the cheese with the pill to her and her aggressive/competitive nature made her swallow it without a thought. And when they give us pills for the cat I just think "get real".

It sounds like good news to me. Hopefully a round of antibiotics will fix her up.
