Tri-County Football is divided into two divisions - East and West - my grandson plays in the East.
End of season they have an All-Star Game... every team is represented (if they want).
It could be the best game of the year BECAUSE... the kids get to know each other. Enemies, mortal enemies, become friends. My grandson and a player for Kingsburg were mortal enemies during the season.... after a week of practice for the All-Star game, and then the game, they are now best friends. Shared social media contact info and most of the All-Stars are now friends online. And it's not just with players from their division... the camaraderie extends to the West as well.
So this video: East players got together during the week's practice and made a 'plan'. They kept it a secret... coaches didn't know, parents didn't know. The OFFICIALS didn't know... or didn't UNTIL... after a score when the kid who caught the TD, (Kerman player, like my grandson who is also in this video - #8) went up to the official and asked permission. Permission was granted. You'll see a group of the players conferring with the official.
I should note: WEST players were aware of the 'plan'.... they agreed and in fact commented... "Wish we should have thought of that".
