Yeah, with each dog, the foster sends a bag full of the dog's stuff: treats, harness, leash, bowl, blankets etc... and we also always include a thank you note with contact info, in case the adopter wants to contact us.. in that note I explained what I did to calm him down and asked the adopter to please have patience with him..
Was awful sad yesterday.. he was in the crate, on the bus, and I stood by him talking to him for about 30 minutes while they got everything ready to roll.. He just had that "what are you doing - why are you leaving me?" look in his eyes..
..and my wife told me last night she's picking up another foster dog today.. So, the cycle starts all over again..
