but those they keep around like Grandal, Pederson and Puig, The Kikes and Taylors of the world should be super utilitymen, not everyday players. Their weaknesses are exposed playing every day.
Grandal can't hit RH, has been a complete washout in the playoffs two yrs in a year and during this year's playoffs he forgot how to catch the ball.
Pederson is a brain dead hacker who can't hit LH pitchers. Puig can't LHs and is just brain dead, period. Still immature. Check out his act rounding the bases on his HR Sat night. To celebrate is one thing, to act the fool all the way around the bases is childish. Looks even worse in a losing effort.
FO did little to help out the pen at the deadline. There were multiple quality arms available and all they came up with was Madsen, who was very good the first two postseason series, then imploded in the World Series.
