We only had her 3 weeks.. first week I was ok with it, but the last two weeks I was pretty sure we were going to keep her.. Unfortunately we were in a contractual agreement that we couldn't adopt her.. even so, since we're big time volunteers and generally donate a ton of money to the cause, that they'd still let us keep her.. But, it was explained to us that if we reneged on the deal, it could put the operation that has already saved 1900 lives, in jeopardy..
Still, I wanted to jump in the car with her and head to Mexico.. I'm sure there wouldn't have been a major stink had we not shown up.. I'm just praying a good family gets her and they contact us.. I not, I'll wonder till I die how she is..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
