if I find that mask.. I kinda wonder how high the other guy would have gone.. I might have gone to $5K tops, but there was also a 20% fee of the total sale that went directly to the seller, so that would have ended up being $6K total.. I'm a little bummed I wasn't more aggressive, but its ok, I guess.. The opening bid was $2500 and I did an opening high bid of $4K.. I stuck to my guns so I can't be too upset..Maybe the guy who won will default and they'll offer it to me at what I bid..
because the mask doesn't exist as a real-life prop in a movie. It was "drawn" and only exists on screen. It plays a key role in the Pixar movie "Finding Nemo". I take it you've not seen it or it's sequel, "Finding Dory"? They are great family movies and the underwater life in both is beautifully done. I think you'd enjoy them both.
