Over the last 3 yrs-notwithstanding statistics-I'v become less and less comfortable when Jansen comes in to close. His trademark cutter is thrown less and less and his fastball is not as fast as 2-3 yrs ago. In a word -"he's now hittable". I recall when Gagne would come in-it was lights out ! And of course we learned why later. I don't feel "lights out" with Jansen anymore.
I'm also felling the same way about Kershaw -even with his last two wins.
Not sure the Dodgers will be in the playoffs this year. Regardless, they have a lot to address when it comes to pitching. Other than K their starters can't seem to go beyond the 5th inning.
Roberts ? Is he on the block ? Trouble ahead.
