I have been exercising Keera with a laser pointer. She now gets excited at 2130 every night because that is the time we are supposed to play with this thing. I take her outside and she runs back and forth for about 5 minutes or so. We then come in and we play some more.
So today I am sitting inside with down pour rain outside and I type in google, "laser pointers and dogs". According to the site, AKC.org, I am confusing my dog and frustrating her. The light kicks in her "prey drive" instincts and because she can't catch the light she is going to get frustrated and MAYBE develop "behavioral problems"....like looking for the light when it isn't play time.
I hope I never get caught by the dog police....
