I was standing in an elevator the other day. . . and not that this is the first time I noticed it, but it made me wonder.

I'm talking in reference to the instructions for first responders in case of fire. It isn't exactly "War and Peace" length. But it isn't short either. . . so it seems to me by the time you finish reading the instructions, the building would have burned down. Or do all elevators have standard language and you really don't have to read them..
