You'll need to post pics of that bad boy when you get it done.. I grew up building models just like you did.. airplanes, ships, tanks, cars etc.. mostly WWII stuff.. Now I build 3D models for computer and can interact with them in virtual reality - as you saw in the photo I posted.. I'm currently laid off from work (government!) but am still working on my next project at home because I am so fired up to do this stuff..

So, my next project is the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter virtual reality sim.. in it you'll be able to sit in the cockpit of the UH-60 and go through all the flight checks and simple flight.. I have the model ready to go, but not the environment around it.. So, here are some screen captures of that for ya.. I put it hovering over animated water and both rotors are spinning in the pics.. you will eventually have a fully functioning cockpit.. but you know what? I'd really like to put together a model like I did as a kid.. When the only thing you had to worry about was inhaling too much glue.. lol
