Hell. . . five years ago. . .I'd be singing and doing the hand jive to Sesame Street, I would have said. . . .Not in this universe. . .not in this lifetime.
And by the way. . . the letter of the day today is P. Well, here I am. 17-month old grandson on my lap doing just that. . . . anxiously awaiting the number of the day next..
I think you all know that we are now baby daycare from 7:30 a.m. to 5;30 p.m. Monday throug Friday.
Until now, I couldn't relate to all you fathers and grandfathers out there. So I feel I've joined a fraternity and it's given me a new appreciation of parenthood. I do have to qualify, Vickie does all the hard work. . .diapers. . . feeding. . . chasing Everett around as he now crawls at light speed.
So now I want to give a deep bow to you fathers. You've earned it. . .. ten fold. .
