spiders are everywhere here.. Have had several friends bitten by them and I've seen them in our fireplace wood pile.. I think it boils down to the person bitten - some people don't react badly to the bite and only get a red mark, while some people - who I think are somehow allergic to the bite - practically need an exorcism after their skin splits wide open and you can practically see through the limb bitten... pretty bad...
