So I saw this as a child... and it scared me for weeks after watching it. And has ruined the horror genre. And having watched it about 10 years ago as an adult, no longer really that scary. I do enjoy the genre. The Shining is fun to watch and it has its moments. I guess that would be #2 for me. Rosemary's baby is unsettling and has its moments too. I love Jaws. I can watch it every time it comes on.

I think Jaws is generally listed as horror but its no more so than Silence of the @#$%&. I guess there is a fine line between thriller and horror.
