4 1/2 inches of rain last night and today

so safe to say , the eclipse was a pretty major wash out

didn't even get as dark as I thought it was

they were saying those in the path of the eclipse , it would get dark enough to be able to see the stars

but I'm a little north of that so I wasn't expecting it to get quite that dark , but kinda sorta dark all the same

but not really , it got a little darker , but really no darker then what it gets with usual thunderstorms that roll through here , which we were actually having at the time ,

so.......................if you didn't now we were having an eclipse at the time , you would have never even know we were having an eclipse ,
