as you know my iPhone 6+ sleeps with the fishes. My son-in-law had an older iPhone 5, the cheapest model, he lent me to use until the iPhone 8 comes out - which I will buy.
Couple things I've discovered about myself since losing my phone:
First - I was seriously considering getting a cheaper model... because of size. My 6+ was BIG... rather a pain to carry around. I was thinking I'd prefer the comfort and ease of carrying around a smaller phone even if it was more difficult to use. Well... after a week of using the 'smaller phone' I discovered that NO, I can't go smaller. I couldn't type well on the 6+ - with this 5 I basically can't type at all.
Secondly - I don't really miss it. Seriously. In fact, I'm not even carrying the 5 around with me. That isn't all that smart because all my business calls come in on my phone so I've been VERY late in replying to several calls. Not that I'm upset by that... actually, not sure I care. It took me all of 5 minutes to get used to NOT having a smartphone in my pocket. That surprised me, I admit it. - JamesJM
