I can spend the day with my family or work or whatever and then that evening watch the game. I can watch the full length version or the condensed version. I usually watch the longer one because it feels more "live" and I can get wrapped up in the game. But if I want to rewatch the game I can do the condensed version... or if I found out they lost.. or just tired or whatever... It also gives you the "coaches" film with plays shown from 2 different angles. I know you know all that, lol.. I'm just saying why I like it.
I got tired of calling DTV and playing the game. We rarely watched TV and I usually recorded the game anyway. Now we do Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. I have cable for internet but it was cheaper to get the TV package... which came with HBO. We don't have the cable tv hooked up but we can get HBO through the Apple TV or the Roku... or computers. We NEVER watch HBO. I'm not even sure how it exists. Game of Thrones I guess.
I mainly watch Netflix... we all mainly watch Netflix. On the rare occasion, although I can't remember a single instance, we will watch Hulu, etc.
I do have the History Channel Vault which is barely OK. A GREAT channel is the "Great Courses Plus" or whatever. It is $20 and worth every penny and then some. I can't believe that something like that is available. But I rarely ever watch it. But I can't cancel it because its just so good. Its a weird dilemma lol. I think lately, the past 45 years or so, I just want to watch something that requires no brain power.
