Almost like you kinda re-discovered yourself on drums while on stage.. Sounds like you went back to the basics and were just playing for the love of it..
My favorite moments on stage are moments when I don't have to pay attention to what I'm doing.. I just let years of playing take over and I'm almost on auto pilot, but still giving 110% every note.. kind of hard to explain, but I know we've discussed it before - when you're in the "zone" and can just enjoy the moment while "exactly what you need to come from your instrument" comes out with razor sharp precision without you even trying.. Its so difficult to explain to anyone who doesn't play.. I know you know what I'm talking about..
I live for those moments on stage.. without them, I wouldn't be playing anymore..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
