Main difference was that they would split all the kids up into two teams , we would start out with like 20 kids on each team , each on one half of the gym , couldn't cross the center line , if you got hit by the ball and didn't catch it , you had to go sit down , but if you caught the ball , one of the kids that had to go sit down , could now come back in , the game lasted until one entire team was eliminated

we used those big red rubber balls the size of basketballs , and they were heavy thick rubber , you get hit in the face , you knew it , bloody nose , cut lips , was all part of the fun of the 5th grade...........lol
