I've sent stuff ahead of time to hotels countless times. It'll be the same as paying for the extra bag, or less sometimes, and you don't have the worry about toting a bunch of stuff.
Many times when I have traveled, and not long ago I was traveling a lot, I would mail everything to the hotel.......and walk on and off the plane with just the clothes on my back. That's the way to fly trust me. Not having to worry about carry on, getting your back in the claim area, and just the hassle of carrying all the stuff is GREAT believe me.
Easy to track so you know it arrived, you can even get text alerts when it arrives.
