It's not the lawyers who sued the makers of the product-its the lawyers who work for the product's owners in terms of overkill and who make tons of money advising their clients (i.e.-better be safe than sorry Mr. owner of the product). Yes there are product liability suits based on a failure to warn but for the most part those cases are egregious and each of us would agree there should have been some warning. Blaming lawyers who represent those injured by a product is misplaced. Most-if not all-the silly warning stuff is created by lawyers working for the manufacturers and who are justifying to their clients why they are charging so much. Like anything else there are always exceptions but the exceptions don't represent the truth.
