I have never forgiven my local radio station when the year 1970 was born and they had a 'Top 100 Of The 60's'..... I'm sure it wasn't a local list, created by my local radio station, but probably not a true national rating either.... but my point is:
"Sugar Sugar" WON... top song of the 60's. I cannot express to you how offended by that I was... it's not top 100 worthy, not top 500, I doubt top 1,000. Just for example... #2 was "Hey Jude" by the Beatles... try to take that in... "Sugar Sugar" beat out "Hey Jude"... and HEY... "Hey Jude" is just possibly one of my LEAST favorite Beatles songs... but compared to "Sugar Sugar"????? - JamesJM
