The Cubs have the best record in the majors, the best two pitchers, and are overwhelming favorites to not only go to the WS but to win it. The Dodgers with all their injuries and loss of a starting rotation with a rookie manager should never have been in this place. They were way behind the Giants at mid season and their ace suffered a herniated disc and was out two months. And they haven't been to the Series for almost 20 years. So lets not get all sentimental over this team with the cute name "cubbies". The "improbables" in this series is not the cubbies but the Dodgers.
