I wish for your grandson the very best. Hopefully, this will be the only time he suffers from any type of brain trauma regardless of how caused.
Not quite sure why your post is directed at me other than the fact that you know how I feel about the concussion issues. I too have grandchildren who are involved in a competitive sport that includes the danger of concussions but not the repetitive concussions that occur consistently in football. Keep in mind every single concussion is a trauma to the brain. I'm with my son who believes strongly that his son will not play football period-and not just youth football. I believe this is both wise and based on evidence. Particularly to the young where the brain is still developing. I recognize that others feel different on this subject. I get that.
