"Sunny SF" ? That's what I call an oxymoron. I spent just about every weekend there (Tiburon) from 1998-2004 when my wife was school superintendent in San Rafael. Lots of wild weather-loved it!

I still think we who live in So Cal for a lengthy time tend to get just a little bit "softer" than those who live in areas where they are constantly battling heat, cold, snow, tornadoes, hurricanes, blah blah. Granted it doesn't make a big difference but sometimes this little edge works when things are tight.

And yes I get the exceptions. However, Hitler was kind and generous to his dogs. If one just looked at his behavior with his dogs you might think :" Hey, this guys not so bad after all".

( On second thought-Hitler may not be a good analogy)
