4 1/2 inches of rain so far today , and counting

We had a little rain this morning , then it stopped for a while , then about 2 o'clock this afternoon , the flood gates opened up

luckily it hasn't been anything to severe , just heavy rains , seems to come in waves , rain real hard for a half hour or so , then let up for a little while , then back to more heavy rains , right now is still a lot of thunder , and steady rain , it just seems to keep back building right over the same spot all day

but the real reason for this post ............

Those automated NOAA weather alerts , weve been under a flash flood warning now for about 5 hours , and like every 15 minutes , all our phones and radio goes off with a new warning , they go off everytime they add a new town or county to the warning

But these are those automated warnings , not real voices , but those annoying computer automated voices , and they go through and list all the counties and times for the warning , but it always miss pronounce at least half of them , sometimes it's not even close
