EXACTLY the same for me. A diver will walk to the end of the platform and assume a handstand and my mind goes blank except for thinking, "how the HELL?"... so much so that I miss the actual dive, for the most part. The 2nd diver walks up and does the same and my reaction is exactly the same as the first one, "How the HELL?"... and so on, the 3rd, the 4th, if there are 4,328 divers doing handstands I will react the same very single time and I'll never see the dive very well.
Height, this is an odd one for me. I cannot, comfortably anyway, walk to the edge of a cliff, a cliff of any kind. But being in a plane doesn't bother me in the least... in fact, being high in a plane, especially a small plane that I'm flying, is probably my favorite thing in the world. - JamesJM
