Gonzales has lost his power.
Pederson, notwithstanding his present injuries, isn't growing into what was projected.
Jansen has a lot of saves but I always am edgy whenever the game is on the line.
OTOH the Dodgers have placed more players on the DL than any National League team over the last 30 years.
So just keeping in striking distance to the Giants is really a compliment to Roberts.
No wins since the All-Star game. And prior to it, they had the best record in baseball.
They skipped the June Swoon and decided to do that in July instead. Giants are hurting. Too many older players with chronic injury problems . . . . plus freak accidents for some of the younger ones, like Duffy and Panik. And now Posey. The Dodgers are by no means alone with the DL issue.
